GOOD FRIDAY FLEECE SALE

After harvesting our freshly BLADE shorn fleeces in March 2024, we will be delighted to offer you the opportunity to come to the Source of the Resource @ Fernhill Farm to browse our fleece collections on the 29th March from 10am - 4pm

These fleeces will not be available online, are the cream of our crop and will be available to purchase in bags ready to take away on the day

Fleeces include:

  • Romney X Shetland - cream, white, coloured - ewes, shearling and lambs in full fleeces and sample boxes

  • Lustre fleeces - blends of BFL, Teeswater, Leicester Long Wool, Wensleydale breeds in bright whites and native shades of extra long curls - full fleeces, part fleeces, shearling, lambs and sample boxes, mini craft options etc

  • Bargain bags - range of skirt curls, VM curls, 2023 fleeces, felted fleeces, peg loom fleeces etc - all within the sale range

We also sell sheepskins, natural knitting and weaving yarns, felts, craft ingredients, clothing and accessories, gifts, cards and Jen’s new booklet the “Wonder of Wool” will be available alongside the pack of 10 postcards “10 reasons to love wool”

We can accept cash or card here on the day and come prepared for all weathers

We can welcome you here from 10am - 4pm and please leave your dogs at home - we are a working livestock farm with a small display shop selling our own products via our websites and creating breakfast and BBQ boxes for our weekend guests

Please note we have a large private party happening on site this weekend so there will be no access to cafe, toilets or any areas of the farm except the mini produce shop and shearing shed for fibres

Please appreciate Good Friday is a one-off day when you can pop in anytime you like as all other visiting times will need an appointment

(we are livestock farmers and do not welcome visitors without us knowing beforehand on any other days except Good Friday 2024)
