AUGUST FLEECE SALE
NEW for 2025 as we continue to sort and grade our hoard of full fleece and fibres, and most importantly, before we start to think about shearing 1000 lambs in September - we are delighted to offer you the opportunity to come to the Source of the Resource @ Fernhill Farm to browse our fleece collections on the Monday 25th August from 10am - 4pm
Most fleeces will be available to purchase in bags ready to take away on the day*
Fleeces include:
Romney X Shetland* - cream, white, coloured - ewes, shearling and lambs in full fleeces and sample boxes
Lustre fleeces* - blends of BFL, Teeswater, Leicester Long Wool, Wensleydale breeds in bright whites and native shades of extra long curls - full fleeces, part fleeces, shearling, lambs and sample boxes, mini craft options etc
Bargain bags - masses of beautiful peg loom fleeces on offer in all the native shades, plus skirt curls, few remaining 2024 fleeces, felting fleeces etc - all within the sale range*
*please note, these may not all be bagged so if you wish to bring your own bag to refill, we do love to encourage recycling as much as possible thanks

We also sell single and double bedroll sheepskins, foot rests, natural knitting and weaving yarns, felts, craft curls & washed locks, clothing and accessories, gifts, cards and Jen’s booklet the “Wonder of Wool” will be available alongside the pack of 10 postcards “10 reasons to love wool”
Fernhill Produce Shop - Aberdeen Angus SPECIAL - we will have lots of fresh Angus beef on offer, plus Mutton and pork available either fresh or from the freezer - watch this space as we continue to replenish our supplies - to pre-order Meat Boxes, your welcome to click and collect or allow plenty of time for browsing when your here* - Fernhill Farm Shop - our online platform to pre-order, click and collect home-grown farm products — Fernhill Farm
All our meats are verified regenerative, along side our wool and leather products, freshly harvested salads and greens from our polytunnel and local eggs
We can accept cash or card here on the day and come prepared for all weathers - we will offer some light refreshments throughout the day - details confirmed nearer the day
We can welcome you here from 10am - 4pm and please leave your dogs at home - we are a working livestock farm with a small display shop selling our own products via our websites and creating breakfast and BBQ boxes for our weekend guests
