Create your own Christmas Stockings

Enough to make one large stocking and 2 - 6 mini tree decorations

Box contents:

• Pure Shetland felt 0.5m2 - fawn

• 10cm x 30cm pre-felt - white

• needle felt needle with wooden holder 

• Red and Green Lopi yarns

• Washed white Teeswater curls

• Cardboard stocking pattern (inside box)

• Requires scissors, sewing machine, foam pad

Guide to your creativity:

1. Cut out the large and small stocking shapes from the cardboard box, draw 2 large and 4 - 6 mini stockings onto the felt

2. Use scissors to cut out the felt shapes, keeping the trim to create hanging hooks if required - a 5cm - 10cm strip of felt/stocking 

3. Using a sewing machine, stitch the large stockings together, adding the strip to create the hook at the back of the top openings 

4. Cut 10cm strips of white pre-felt and using the needle felting technique, attach onto the stitched edging all around the stocking - red one side, green on the other

5. Use more pre-felt on the top of the stocking, adding the Teeswater curl

Please note - the mini stocking can be left individual rather than sewn together as they can be decorated as simple hanging tree decorations as you wish
