Selection of our Rams Raw Fleeces - blade shorn April 2026 by Master shearer Andy Wear, hand picked and skirted, little if any Vegetable Matter (VM) and all are super clean fleeces from our breeding rams here at Fernhill Farm
We have our usual huge masses of strong, dense, long, colourful fibres from our Pure Romney Rams, plus a pedigree Ryeland from Andrews family flock in Butcombe and a couple of pure white BFL fleeces.
As we are taking most of our Wensleydale black ram fleeces to the shows, we have also managed to list here 500g for those whom can only buy online - all are exceptional quality, really clean after months of rain and hardly any RAM-ODOUR to them this year

All fleeces are Blade Shorn and sorted on grading tables to remove bellies, britches, crutch, topknots, checks, spray marker & most veg matter, dust, dirt, dags etc
