Romney x Shetland felted fleeces Blade shorn March 2024
These fleeces are felted and would not be suitable for spinning or carding. However, the fleeces are so beautiful and the colours are amazing that we think they would make the perfect crafting project. You could felt the underside to make a sheep fleece rug (pictures 21 and 22). Alternatively, you could also peg loom the fleece (picture 23) to make an incredible mat, the possibilities are endless due to the size of the fleeces!
Fleece 1 - 1.8kg (pictures 1,2,3,4)
Fleece 2 - 2.4kg (pictures 5,6,7,8)
Fleece 3 - 2.3kg (pictures 9,10,11,12)
Fleece 4 - 2.3kg (pictures 13,14,15,16)
Fleece 5 - 1.5kg (pictures 17,18,19,20)
Fleece 6 - 2.1kg (pictures 21,22,23,24)

All fleeces are Blade Shorn and sorted on grading tables to remove most veg matter, dust, dirt, dags etc
