Wool Handling Experience - Saturday 22nd March @ Fernhill Fibre Experience

Book your slot with a wool handler who will guide and advise you how to work with a shearer to safely remove the fleeces from the boards and onto to the tables for sorting and grading

Suitable for everyone wanting to have a go at wool handling and learn how to add value to fleece at shearing for multitude of craft activities

Please wear suitable fitting clothing, that you are not concerned gets greasy with lovely fresh lanolin on the fleeces

It is your responsibility to inform your tutor on the day of any medical conditions thanks

Fees include maximum one hour where you will become part of the team, with guidance and supervision to understand the concept of what is required to be a wool handler

We will be shearing white Romneys with full fleeces, with microphone coverage of the importance of good shearing and wool handling etc

This will take place in the shearing shed as a 1:1 lesson where you shall work with experienced wool handlers
